enjoyed all of Bill Kover's Paris offerings, but I had expected the "shopping in France" videos to be a bit more "serious" and informative - because I now am excited about a possible untour visit there, and will need all the help I can get> Thanks, Tex Badkins

The shopping in Paris videos were done by a young lady living in France. I had no control over the content. If you have any questions, let me know. We did a lot of shopping in Marche U and small local shops rather than big grocery stores. We were very apprehensive our first day or so about shopping "correctly". But by the second or third day, you will be fine. The more the store employees see you coming back, the friendlier they get. Just try to learn some basic French phrases like "where is?" (Ou est? pronounced oo ay) or "do you have?" (Avez-vous? pronounced ah-vay-voo). Once we went to the hardware store for clothespins. I said "Avez-vous?" and pointed to a drawing I made of a clothespin. He got me what I wanted, and then asked me how to say it in English.
