Members had forwarded a Link
to an online Dutch Advertisement. The web page is in
Dutch, and you won't be able to place an order. However,
you will enjoy the ingenuity and humor of the message,
Side Note: The Link had been forwarded to Francy.
She happens to be in Holland at the moment. Here's
part of her response to my forwarded message:
That is fantastic! You won't believe it... I was just in that
store an hour ago here in Leiden. Too funny!
HEMA is a Dutch department store. The first store opened
on November 4, 1926, in Amsterdam . Now there are
150 stores all over the Netherlands.
On June 2, 2007, HEMA was sold to British investment
company Lion Capital.
The takover has apparently made someone in IT very upset.
However, they still retained their sense of humor, as evident
by this advertisement.
