Spreading the word

Get this: Eleanor was taken to the hospital this morning in an ambulance. On the way to the
hospital, she wasn't talking about how bad she was feeling. Eleanor was
telling the EMS guy about Untours. Now that's dedication!

Apparently she has colitis. She will be checked tomorrow by a Gastroenterologist, who will probably hear a lecture about Untours.

I was busy thinking the book was somewhere else. Maybe it migrated to the Paris stuff all on its own. More than likely I probably put it there so I could find it later. Incompatible cards in Europe.

The following article by Ed Perkins appeared in this past Sunday's Newark Star Ledger:

Last year, Mastercard and Visa seemed to be ignoring this problem entirely, but I've heard recent rumblings that one or two U.S. banks are considering issuing compatible cards. Let's hope."

Body scanners at Charles DeGaulle Airport

According to an article in today's (1/9/2010) Newark Star Ledger, body scanners will be used on an experimental basis at Charles DeGaulle Airport later this month on flights headed for the United States. That's fine with me. Nobody will be drooling over my physique.
