From the simple pleasures of fresh fruits and vegetables at the market to the gourmet meals at even the smallest of trattorie, Tuscany is a treasure trove of delights for the palate. But, what about recreating those taste sensations when one returns… Continue

EVENTUALLY, we would like to take an Untour trip to Italy. Since it's one of your favorites, we'll have to remember to send questions your way when we prepare to make the journey.

I'm so glad there will be an Amalfi Untour coming soon. This is the one area in Italy that I'm dying to explore. Just came back from Umbria/Venice and would love some information on the Amalfi Untour.
email me any news you might have

Don't miss the charming UNESCO town of Praiano--a true small fishing village between Positano and Amalfi. We stayed for two weeks and loved every minute of it.

And do NOT drive. . .take the SITA buses, which run quite regularly.

Also, don't miss seeing Salerno, a lovely city rebuilt after WWII.

I haven't taken an Untour yet, BUT, it is something we are going to do soon! One of our problems is deciding where to go .... the group I travel with each have a varied ideas .... Austria is high on the list, as is Switzerland and Germany. We read all the info here on the different places. But now, that Amalfi (one of my personal favorite places in the world) is going to be added, that might make our decision easier!! Thanks for the update, and I look forward to more info on this new Untour!

Thanks for the note Andi. That sounds like a great new addition to Untours. We're spending 3 weeks in Hawaii next March, but we definitely want to go back to Italy as soon as we can.

Glad you joined the Cafe and that you are my "friend" - haven't we really been friends for about 10 years now?! Enjoyed your
pictures of Amalfi but that area is too topographically challenging for me - sure couldn't be the designated driver, as I'd be on the
floorboards all the time! Just give me FLAT Buonconvento. Ciao!
