You make me cry.....Such wonderful memories and great pictures of Toscana! Where did you stay on this trip, Doris? I would love to hear more, although the pictures tell a thousand words.

Thanks for the kind words, Ed. This was a special trip for me with two dear old friends. We stayed in a tiny town called Vico d'Elsa which is a hilltown just across from San Gimignano. We rented a villetta at the very top of the hill overlooking vineyards and olive trees and all those wonderful things that make up Tuscany. It seems that everything is golden there - the hills, the stone buildings, the light, and especially the people. I wish I could emulate their way of life more often here at home. Family and friends and that amazing food are the three essentials in their lives.
