Think of this page as the Tuscany table of our Untours Cafe! We will try to gather all things Tuscany in this one spot. This video is the centerpiece at the table.

This amazing video was made by Kurt Struckmeyer, using photos from our Untours Cafe members. We continue to be completely awed by:
  • the exquisitely beautiful scenery of Tuscany
  • how amazingly talented and generous all our Untourists are. The photographers/Cafe members featured in this video include: Stan Graczyk, Marlen Hench, Vicki Ingham, Dave Kissinger, Scott McKinney, Kim Paschen, Carol & Tom Smoyer, Jean & Kurt Struckmeyer, and Louise Walls.
If you would like to try your hand at making videos like this, using the wonderful contributions of Cafe members to celebrate your favorite place, just let any of the Cafe staff know and we can help you get started. (Cafe Staff: Marilee, Powen & Kim Sue )

I know you can take a train to Siena and Florence.  They are both wonderful.  You need a car to get to most of the little towns.  We spent 2 weeks at Le Chuise, just being in that beautiful spot was an experience.  I think to get the full benefit of Tuscany  you would need to drive.  The roads have little traffic and with the GPS we were able to reach all the recommended sites.   Lee Epstein

I am rather late to this discussion but I think all the comments remain pertinent.  Our experience has been, in Tuscany, that of having a car for the entire time in country but not hesitating to take a train.  In the Amalfi Untour we used the bus exclusively as Untours did not recommend getting a car and it worked out very well.

One month from today we'll be attending the orientation with lunch at the abbey near Buonconvento.  We've had this booked for quite awhile, and now just a month to wait.  So looking forward to seeing Anna & Lodovico at Poggiarellino again.
